7 Steps To Fundraising Success!

 

1.  Set A Fundraising Goal

 

Decide how much money your group needs to raise and create a realistic goal.  We typically recommend

that each person in your group should be able to sell $100 worth of product.

 

2.  Create A Fundraising Plan

 

Have a kick-off rally.  Stick to a schedule; usually 2-3 weeks is plenty of time to hold a Fundraiser.

 

3.  Treat It Like A Business

 

You are now in the business of selling Fundraising Products.  Put together a pitch, rehearse the pitch and have no fear when approaching potential donors. 

 

4.  Create Excitement

 

Create a fundraising prize program; award your supporters frequently and in front of others.  Encourage, encourage, encourage!

 

5.  Stay Focused

 

Keep your group motivated and focused on the goal throughout the entire 2-3 weeks.

 

6.  Effective Leadership

 

The groups success is a direct reflection of the success of the leader, lead by example - sell a lot of product!

 

7.  Fundraising Party!

 

Reward your group with a party.  You can even use some of the money you raised.  Plan this in advance and promote it often.  This party will get people excited for your next fundraiser.
